The Bombay High Court intervened in the release of a Netflix docuseries titled ‘The Indrani Mukerjea Story: The Buried Truth’, which was scheduled to premiere on February 23, concerning the high-profile Sheena Bora case. Responding to objections raised by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the court ordered a special screening for CBI officers before its release on the OTT platform. The docuseries claims to feature new revelations surrounding the disappearance of Sheena Bora and the subsequent events.

The Sheena Bora case, a sensational murder mystery, unfolded in 2015 when Sheena Bora, the daughter of media executive Indrani Mukerjea, was allegedly murdered in Mumbai.

The case, marked by complex family dynamics and financial disputes, garnered widespread attention due to the involvement of prominent individuals and allegations of conspiracy. While the docuseries aimed to shed light on the case, the Bombay HC's decision to halt its release underscores concerns regarding its potential impact on the ongoing investigation and public perception.
